Hair transplant with the FUE method

Rubenhair Latvia performs hair, eyebrow, and beard transplants using the FUE method (Follicular Unit Extraction), which involves extracting individual hair follicles one by one. This method is the gold standard and is widely used by professional hair transplantation clinics around the world.

At Rubenhair Clinic, all hair transplant procedures are performed by experienced surgeon and certified hair transplantologist, Dr. Andrejs Milčevskis, a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS, USA).

During the procedure, grafts (hair follicle units) are carefully extracted from the donor area — typically located at the back of the scalp — using a specialized micro-instrument. These grafts are then transplanted into the desired areas, also known as the recipient zone. Each graft typically contains between 1 and 4 hair follicles.

At Rubenhair Latvia, we do not split grafts — they are transplanted whole, exactly as they are extracted from the donor area. This approach helps to maintain natural density and volume, ensuring a fuller and more aesthetically pleasing result.
